Virginia Slim & The Sim Virgins
Two extraordinary musical personalities come together: Mike Abt, also known as "Virginia Slim," and Riedel Diegel. Growing up on the banks of the Potomac River in Northern Neck, Virginia, Mike Abt was introduced to the blues at a young age by his nanny Helen, an African American woman.
Riedel Diegel, on the other hand, made his mark on the German music scene as a founding member of the band Schwoißfuaß. His virtuosity on the harmonica earned him the world championship title in Trossingen in 1989.
Together, they promise a special concert experience that will transport listeners into the world of blues, enriched with elements of blues rock, Americana, funk, country, and southern rock. Joining Abt and Diegel in the lineup are Felix David (vocals, guitar), Ingo Baron (drums), and Klaus Brunschede (bass).
